Why can't Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin be judged by the same standard?

I've never said Loughner was influenced by Palin. However, many idiots that cannot think for themselves are. The hateful rhetoric needs to stop, on both sides. It's absolutely pointless and does much more harm than good.
