MacBook water damage?

I used a liberally (not really that wet) wet wash cloth on my MacBook Pro and I think I shorted out the keyboard because liquid seeped into the keys. But how much liquid does it take to shorten out the keyboard. Money is no problem if my warranty is voided because I have an emergency computer fund, but how much water would it take. I only used a liberally (nearly dry) wash cloth. Could just a few drops do it?
