When we ask God for wisdom, what does it mean that he "upbraideth not"?

The word "upbraid" means to scold or reprove. God loves His own and will not reprove them for requesting what he already wants them to have. We are commanded in the scriptures to get wisdom. When you ask for wisdom, do not expect instantanious wisdom, but expect the Lord to place you in situations and relationships that will bring about spiritual growth to the one willing to be corrected and taught.
