University of Michigan-Ann Arbor vs Cornell?

to be honest, i heard that job interviewers really dont care the name of the school you graduated from. i mean it matters, but it doesnt make them say i'll take the harvard grad over the county college grad necessarily. but my friend is going to cornell and not to make anything of it, but they do have one of the highest, if not THE highest suicide rate of any college in the country. so i said if she does do that, then i get her stuff. but its more of if you feel like you fit there than anything else. i wanted to see duke last year which was the main focus of my college trip over spring break (6 schools in 7 days... i know), yet, i hated it so much that i left within 15 minutes after we got out of the car.
