Is it ok to put cream on your face?

As in aveeno's intense relief cream. it says to put on irritated skin and it's not a BODY lotion, so i was wondering if it helps to put it on my face? when i read everything it only said to apply liberally as needed, but no help if i should moisturize my face with it.
