How do I change the monitor on my Acer Aspire One model KAV10 D150-1920?

My puppy Dexter (Yorkie no less) was trying to get at my lasagna (it was good I admit) and knocked my beloved Aspire One 10 inch computer down effectively destroying my monitor. I bought a replacement monitor but I can't figure out how the take the bloody thing apart to get to the broken bits and replace the non-functioning with the functioning monitor. PLEASE HELP- my short stories and soon-to-be finished novel are on that computer. And did I mention being too broke to buy a new computer during the holiday season?
